As most of you know by now we’re into our Salmon Season.  Fishing for these big Kings of the Pere Marquette River has been pretty good.  There big this year, making for some interesting battles when hooked.  The nice thing is were seeing plenty of fish in the river. It’s been a good run so far. Fish are even pushing into the river, even with the water so low.  You will find Kings throughout the whole river system.   Some fish are in the pools and runs and some have now started to spawn.  The Trout fishing has been tough, just due to the low clear water were seeing.  Fish have become spooky with the bright blue days.  When it comes down to it we just need rain and our fall like weather back again. This will make the fishing a little more consistent.

As for me the healing is going well, just ready to get on the water.
