The Pere Marquette River is starting to drop in water level.    Like all  the rivers around the State, the PM river was very high last weekend.   Steelhead fishing is holding its own still, high water should push a few more new fish in.  Due to the high water the fish are scattered through out the whole river system. Fishing Report 3.24.16

Looks like Winter has returned on the banks of the Pere Marquette River once again.  Steelhead fishing has been well , river is in excellent shape.   With the higher water last week New fish are moving around in the system.   This is a great sign, most of the Fall/Winter Steelhead have now spawned and headed back out to Lake Michigan.    Flies have been bigger Clown Eggs in Bright Colors along with Parr and Stone Fly patterns.

The Pere Marquette River was in great shape last week and over the weekend. The weather last weekend was just incredible.
