The seasons are slowly starting to change on the Pere Marquette River.  With the cooler evenings and mornings and shorter days you can feel Fall starting to creep up.  The river is in good shape with some much-needed rains over the last couple of weeks the river came up a little and cooled off quite a bit.  Trout fishing has started to slow down a little with the cooler weather.   King Salmon are now starting to enter the river system.   A good couple of pushes of fish came in and now have scattered throughout the whole river. Look for slower cooler pools to be holding them.  Hope everyone enjoyed their Labor Day weekend.   What a great summer this has been despite all the crazy things going on in our world. It’s good just to get outside and explore and to let that all go.  Want to thank everyone who joined me for some great Trout fishing this summer.  It was crazy good and always great to catch up with old friends and clients and to meet new one too.  Enjoy the Fall !!!!
Started Salmon this week hopefully will have some King photos soon.  Some Trout from last week , last of the Dry Fly days until next year.  Have a good week !!!!
