Salmon Season ended for myself and my clients last week, just like the Seasons changing in the weather the Salmon too were ending their cycle. I would like to thank all of you who joined me for another great Fall of Salmon fishing.  It was a great King Season! I don’t recall any really tough days as far as not finding fish in the river system.  It is however, that time again, to shift gears and move into my favorite fishing of the whole year – Fall Steelhead.   As of right now, we do have a few Steelhead scattered throughout the river.  With this unseasonable warm weather, the lack of rain,  and the cold and windy conditions – the fish will be slow coming into the river until things change. Judging by the number of ticks we are finding on the poor dogs while out Bird hunting, It still feels like late summer.  We really haven’t seen much for Fall color change on the West side of the State either – still a lot of green around here.
Pics from the last week of King Season 10/11-10/15   Bill and Chris joined me for their annual Salmon trip.  Chris is all smiles on his two-day Salmon fishing trip we had decent fishing and great summer like weather.   Bill with nice King that hit Leech patterns.   Cory with a nice King on a summer day.
