The calendar says it’s Fall, but it still feels a lot like summer up here!  Salmon fishing on the Pere Marquette River is still fishing good. The warmer weather however, is forcing the fish to spawn quickly and they are fading fast in the system. Some rain in the forecast this week will be nice. Water is low and clear. Some additional rain should push in another fresh batch of fish.  You can find Salmon throughout the whole river system with most fish around gravel and pocket water areas.  Good Luck and tight lines!!! Jeff
Pics from last week 9/27- 9/30 – Dave and Dave started the week with some great Salmon fishing and good laughs these guys are a real treat to have in the boat . We always have a good time. Ed and his son Pete had a good day on the water the weather was perfect, and the fish cooperated nicely.  We had a lot of fun!!!  Mark, Deb, and Julie found some great Kings on another summer-like day. Paul, Mindy, and son Sam, joined me for their annual Salmon trip – and it was a blast. The weather was unreal, and the fish were cooperating. We found some nice fish in the pools and Sam managed to hook and land a giant King all on his own.  I was as proud as his parents to watch it all go down!  Nice job Sam!!!!!
