The Pere Marquette River received some much-needed rain on Monday. Water levels are very low and clear, trout fishing has been decent when water temps are cooler. Fishing on top with Terrestrial patterns and an assortment of attractor flies is working well. Nymphs and swung wet flies are producing too on the bright sunny days. Early mornings we are seeing a good Trico hatch too if you enjoy fishing the little bug. Good luck and enjoy the rest of summer.
Bob joined me for a couple days of great fishing before the heat wave. H found his personal best Brown trout on a dry fly. Nice work!!!!
